I have just purchased new to me pelican 12 #2330 and in the process of trying to install the new seat kit that came with the boat...It only has 4 knees two for each side is this enough?
I also need to know where the knees go and if the seats can be lowered to fit my back better,
The Paint inside is going to be sanded and repainted the deck will be epoxyed glassed and painted leaving all the unfinished wood varnished.
The Boat also came with two sets of spars have no idea why a new set and the old set all in perfect shape I have also got two bow sprits one about 6 in shorter than the other.
all and all information I can get on the boat including camping tents will be great.
The boat came with a perfect trailer, 1954 johnson 3 hp seahorse outboard and it runs along with a new sunbrella cockpit and sail cover.
Jeff has built me a new mast lowering system i look forward to getting and will looking where to put an oar lock to skull I have a set of seven foot spoon blades I think will be two short to row.
